2017 Providence Children's Film Festival

The 2017 Providence Children’s Film Festival is taking place February 17th-26th, and there is an incredible line up of independent and international children’s films! To get a taste of what this year’s festival will feature, please view the 2017 Preview Trailer.


This year, in conjunction with Media Smart Libraries, PCFF is featuring 14 free events at Rhode Island Libraries. Both the free library events and the main festival screenings great opportunities to view independent and international children’s film, gather ideas for library programming and lessons, and use the growing PCFF Film Hub.

Media Smart Libraries is sponsoring a special screening of Golden Globe nominee for best animation, My Life as a Zucchini on February 25th, please RSVP to alyssa_taft@my.uri.edu(link sends e-mail) by February 20th if you would like to attend. The PCFF website lists a ticket fee associated with this event, however it is free to librarians who are attending through Media Smart Libraries. Just let us know and we will put you on the list!
